April is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Co-Clinical Director/Supervisor for our Intern Program. She holds a Doctor of Education degree in Counselor Education and Supervision and a Master of Science degree in Counseling. She has worked with clients of all ages since opening a private practice in 2014. She also worked as a school counselor for several years. April specializes in anxiety and trauma and works with adults and teenagers. She utilizes EMDR, IFS/parts work, and mindfulness with a person-centered approach to therapy. She also offers telehealth through a secure, online platform for anyone in Idaho or Nevada. April's style is warm, down to earth, authentic, and intentional.
